I was planning to have a quiet weekend but had a bit of a brainwave on Friday night. What if members could post up their favourite images from the site on a special page along with a comment? Fortunately Prof Smith also thought it was good idea so got cracking on it straight away. People have been commenting on pics on the message board for ages and even though you can link images most people tend to just quote image numbers – OH MY GOD poppyxx1-019.jpg is SO hot!!!! kinda thing – The pinboard makes it all a lot easier AND gives you a pic AND puts it somewhere everyone can see it (not everyone bothers looking at the message board, too busy, errr, well, you know)
As it stands now non-members can see the thumbs on the pages but only logged in members can get the fullsize images. Also don’t forget its only a day old so it’s going to take a while for it build up a load of pages.
