Oh shit. I’m packing for the flight tonight – Just checking the cameras and my main body seems to be a little on the blink. Every 10 frames or so it siezes up and blinks “Errror 99″ at me. Not good, but at least it unfreezes after a few seconds. Its Sunday so theres no chance of renting one or getting mine fixed so I’ll just have to chance it. Well, I won’t entirely leave things to chance, I’ve got a spare (but old!) body I can take and I’ll take the video and lights and lots of tapes. I’ve been saying for ages I’d do some video only shoots, so this time around my hand may be forced. The irony is I have a new body on order which should arrive any day now. I leave tonight, whats the chances that the new camera arrives tomorrow AM?
the weather for Ibiza looks pretty good – not to hot (mid 70’s) and some cloud – Ideal shooting weather in fact. My spies on the ground also tell me island is now getting much quieter, which makes life so much easier. Mid season I hate the place but as the end appraoches and the crowds thin out I get back to actually quite liking the place.
I won’t tease with who I’m meant to be shooting next week – it tends to jinx things badly, but I’ll make the effort to update the log during the week if I can find some internet.
